Process options - Injection molding with controlled variation of the mold temperature has been promoted as a solution to surface quality and structuring problems in recent years. The article gives an overview of the various techniques and application fields for variable mold temperature control, and, drawing on a non-representative survey of thirty plastics processing companies, shows how far the different processes have made inroads into industrial practice. |
