Through the study on the principle of skin micro-ecology and the influence of physiological activities, this paper summarized the positive or negative disturbance influence of antiseptic and bacteriostatic components on skin micro-ecology in cosmetics that functioned on skin micro-ecology community and its physiological activities to affect the skin health. As a new perspective for the development of cosmetics formulation system and preparation form, it provides a new studying point for the safety evaluation of cosmetic formulation. A restricted substance list, however, cannot just be a table of chemicals or a letter to suppliers; it has to be at the heart of a brand's chemical management system with proper policing measures in place and robust systems to deal with chemical failures.
The tanning industry is a chemical¬intensive industry and, therefore, it is not surprising that the industry finds itself overloaded with different restricted substance lists from a wealth of different retailers and brands. Effective management of RSL policy and compliance with it helps to ensure that brands are not placing illegal products on the market and ultimately will protect the health and safety of not only the consumer but also the workers and the environment. In addition to this, there has undoubtedly been a rise in the activity of NGO organisations and the challenges that they pose are unavoidable. A robust RSL policy will help to avoid negative exposure and, in due course, will aid in protecting the reputation and brand image of a business.En ligne : https://drive.google.com/file/d/15_tkyPj5Fzew1FBSU12oysVPTbiBVcY8/view?usp=drive [...] Format de la ressource électronique : Permalink : https://e-campus.itech.fr/pmb/opac_css/index.php?lvl=notice_display&id=19109

Produits chimiques -- ToxicologieIndex. décimale : 667.9 Revêtements et enduits Résumé : In june 2017, the European Chemicals Agency (ECHA) announced the Committee for Risk Assessment’s (RAC) conclusion that the available scientific evidence meets the criteria in the CLE regulation to classify titanium dioxide as a substance suspected of causing cancer through the inhalation route. Due to extensive need for discussion, the European Commission brought the issue to the November 2017 meeting of the competent authorities for REACH and CLP (Caracal). Note de contenu : - What is the current situation regarding a potential classification of TiO2 ?
- Whas has been the outcome of the recent Caracal meeting ?
- What is CEPE-s attitude toward this outcome ?
- In how far will it affect the final decision on whether TiO2 will be classified ?
- How does CEPE react, do you plan any measurements in the meantime ?En ligne : https://drive.google.com/file/d/1tYifJpCUBTXbcphmolj7M3WUjlUwDM4M/view?usp=drive [...] Format de la ressource électronique : Permalink : https://e-campus.itech.fr/pmb/opac_css/index.php?lvl=notice_display&id=30196

Titre : TiO2 : Why the proposal should be binned : The French Agency for Food Safety, Environment and Occupational Safety and Health (ANSES) has requested the European Chemicals Agency (ECHA) to classify the raw material titanium dioxide in the future as a carcinogen. Such classification is neither justified nor appropriate and would have a serious and disproportionately negative impact on the paints and coatings industry Type de document : texte imprimé Auteurs : Martin Engelmann, Auteur Année de publication : 2016 Article en page(s) : p. 34-35 Langues : Anglais (eng) Catégories : Cancérogènes
