Matières plastiques dans les automobiles
PolypropylèneIndex. décimale : 668.4 Plastiques, vinyles Résumé : Until 2019, automotive manufacturers’ specifications effectively ruled out the use of recycled materials. However, since the discussion on the EU End-of-Life Vehicle Directive at the latest, the specifications have included general requirements for the use of up to 100 % recycled materials. This complete turnaround confronts suppliers with major challenges. At Bosch’s Corporate Sector for Research and Advance Engineering, an entire team is dealing with issues of CO2 reduction, material substitution, and recycling. Here, we give an industry overview. Note de contenu : - Ambitious CO2 targets of automotive manufacturers
- Competition for recyclate sources
- Sustainable material substitution using a fan wheel as example
- New material reduces component weight and improves acoustics
- Closed-loop recycling : From starter battery to sensor
-Emissions savings equal to 4.4 million car kilometers
- Recyclable bumpers
