Textiles et tissus à usages techniques -- Propriétés mécaniquesIndex. décimale : 677.4 Textiles artificiels Résumé : It is well known that polyester (PET) HMLS (high modulus and low shrinkage) is the most predominant textile reinforcement textiles materials used in tire, which is primarily responsible for ensuring the integrity, including several parameters as impact resistance, stiffness, elastic modulus and rolling resistance, having also a consistent contribution on tire performances. Furthermore, these parameters among others are bound to tire weight and fuel consumption. Today's PET HMLS for tire application is produced with l00% virgin fossil-based resources.
