Sensibilité cutanéeIndex. décimale : 668.5 Parfums et cosmétiques Résumé : Many people now claim to suffer from what is termed 'sensitive skin' and consequently seek out products that either alleviate symptoms or prevent them from occurring in the first place. However, despite the fact so many claim to suffer from sensitive skin, the condition is notoriously difficult to pin down and some skin experts believe that what people are reporting cannot accurately be described as sensitive skin.
This article will look at some of the current theories relating to sensitive skin and look at ways we can inject a little more clarity and consequently provide improved products to consumers.Note de contenu : - Sensitive skin : the claims

Peau -- PhysiologieIndex. décimale : 668.5 Parfums et cosmétiques Résumé : Non-invasive bioengineering techniques have become indispensable tools both in the development of drugs and cosmetics and in clinical dermatology. These techniques enable researchers to study the structure and function of human skin objectively and quantitatively. Recent technological developments have brought new techniques into the laboratory and the hospital, among them magnetic resonance imaging, optical coherence tomography and microdialysis. This book describes these state-of-the-art developments, details the application of skin bioengineering techniques for clinical purposes, shows their use in the testing of pharmaceutics and cosmetics and provides an overview of the design and legal aspects of skin bioengineering testing. It will be essential reading for dermatologists, cosmetologists, pharmacologists and toxicologists. Note de contenu : - ADVANCES IN SKIN BIOENGINEERING TECHNIQUES - 1.
