Index. décimale : 668.4 Plastiques, vinyles Résumé : Rotational molding (rotomolding) with PMMA is currently not widely used. As a result, there are still no PMMA grades adapted to the process. Rotational molding specialist HD Kunststoffe has now developed such a variant and also investigated the optimum process parameters for the polymer. - The additive mix used
- The advantages of micropellets
- Glass transition temperature and mass loss
- Recommendations for processing parameters during rotomolding

Titre : No chance for dust : Better protection against esd for plastic parts Type de document : texte imprimé Auteurs : Juan Carlos Caro, Auteur Année de publication : 2021 Article en page(s) : p. 62-65 Langues : Anglais (eng) Catégories : Antistatiques

PolypropylèneIndex. décimale : 668.4 Plastiques, vinyles Résumé : Antistatic additives prevent electrostatic charging, and thereby the attraction of dust to plastic products. This not only ensures an attractive appearance, but can also be safety relevant. However, many antistatic systems develop only an insufficient effect. The masterbatch producer Grafe has therefore developed an antistatic treatment that achieves a significantly lower surface resistivity and can be used together with color masterbatches and various fillers. Note de contenu : - Damage to electronic devices
- Lower surface resistivity than in conventional antistatic systems
- Many antistatic agents perform poorly
- The reason for the poor effect
- Comparison of hpas and a standard antistatic masterbatch
- Minimal dosage, big effect
- Combination of color masterbatches does not reduce the antistatic effect
