Polybutylène téréphtalateIndex. décimale : 668.4 Plastiques, vinyles Résumé : Foam injection molding - Used by few processors in the past, the special process of injection molding for foamed components has grown to be widespread in recent years. The increased variety of applications leads to the question : has thermoplastics foam injection molding been tapped to full potential yet ? Or can the process be an alternative of standard injection molding enabling processors to step up their productivities ? Note de contenu : - Separate charging and foaming
- Single-phase mixture vs. Decomposition products

Langues : Anglais (eng) Index. décimale : 668.4 Plastiques, vinyles Résumé : Plasticizing systems heated by natural gas - In the search for potential savings in plastics processing energy consumption is increasingly attracting the focus of attention – after all electricity costs that are already high are set to rise even higher. At the same time there is growing preparedness to make an active contribution to reducing CO2 emissions. Injection molders achieve both objectives with a plasticizing unit heated by natural gas. Natural gas heating systems can be retrofitted, pay for themselves in a short time and, most importantly, they are safe. Procédés de fabricationIndex. décimale : 668.4 Plastiques, vinyles Résumé : Process technology - Processing of natural fiber-reinforced plastics in a single energy-optimized production process has significant benefits : the sensitive natural fibers are treated gently, emission of odors during processing and from the finished parts is reduced – and, since the intermediate step of pelletizing can be dispensed with when injection molding, energy savings of over 40 % compared to a two-step production process are possible. Vélo -- MatériauxIndex. décimale : 668.4 Plastiques, vinyles Résumé : The particle foam crowd cannot complain about a lack of interest by potential users. At least as far as demand for products with high-quality functional and optical surfaces is concerned. However, development has stagnated since the joint research project SamPa sponsored by the German Federal Ministry of Education and Research reached its conclusion. There is an urgent need for action. Note de contenu : - Skin forming for better surface quality
- Electromagnetic waves instead of steam
- Advantages of variotherm mold temperature control
- Using plasma to render EPP surfaces "compilant"
- Process monitoring requires complex sensor technology
- Figure : Before flow coating with PU, the EPP surface must be activated
- Fig. 1 : In the Wave Foamer, electromagnetic waves cause the polymer chains to oscillate, so that the foam beads are heated from the inside outward
- Fig. 2 : A-pillar of particle foam with textured surface
- Fig. 3 : Schematic representation of the skin formation in five steps
- Fig. 4 : Section through an A-pillar produced by the IMPFC process
- Fig. 5 : To activate the EPP surface, the chemical and physical interaction between the plasma and plastic causes, a) reaction of an isocyanate functional group with the PU layer, and b) a fixed atomic bond between the PU layer and EPP
- Fig. 6 : After pretreatment with plasma, EPP can be flow-coated with a semi-rigid foam, with which this pattern is flow-coated with a further PU system
- Fig. 7 : EPP saddle as a technology demonstrator : functionalized with a printed circuit and flow-coated with clear coat to investigate the depth effect (le) ; flow coated with "piano black" PU (right) in different layer thicknesses (0.5 mm, 1.5 mm and 2.5 mm), in order to illustrate the color intensityEn ligne : https://www.kunststoffe.de/en/journal/archive/article/a-glossy-surface-quality-f [...] Format de la ressource électronique : Permalink : https://e-campus.itech.fr/pmb/opac_css/index.php?lvl=notice_display&id=33983

Mousses plastiques -- Moulage par injectionIndex. décimale : 668.4 Plastiques, vinyles Résumé : Leightweight construction. With the new combined injection molding and particle foam process, forward-looking companies can tap innovative potential, particularly in lightweight construction. The technology, whose industrial practicability has now been demonstrated, removes the limitations of the well-established particle-foam composite injection molding simply by reversing the sequence.
