Résumé : |
Those who are inducted into Plastics Hall of Fame must have achieved groundbreaking results in the field of plastics processing. But that is rarely so clear as in the case of Rainer Armbruster, one of those honored in 2024. Without him, there would not be an exciting mold type at all. |

- Fig. 1 : Station 1: injection, station 2: cooling, reverse side – station 3: injection, station 4: removal. Other functions, such as assembly processes, can also be integrated into the mold
- Fig. 2 : The Compactcube is attractive for the automotive and electronics industries and medical technology
- Fig. 3 : The two stacked halves of the cube mold rotate in 90° steps with respect to one another. Injection and cooling of component 1 (PP roller), offset by 180° at the top for component 2 (POM socket)
- Fig. 4 : With the rotation of the two thermally separated mold halves, the injection molded parts are free for removal. The robot at the forefront already travels into the removal and assembly positions
- Fig. 5 : The gear wheels of the circular Citi mold elements intermesh and ensure vertical rotation. The entire cube subsequently rotates horizontally |
