Résumé :	Leather is a unique material, possessing unusual strength and suppleness. It is able to mould itself to the shape of the foot and is capable of expanding and contracting along with the foot as the temperature and humidity vary. It can absorb relatively large quantities of water without being characterised as wet or damp. Leather provides a level of comfort which has proven extremely difficult to duplicate.
