Whether in potato chip production, petrochemistry, or waste separation, infrared spectroscopy is an established measurement method. This technology has already found widespread use in the identification of plastics, but its capabilities allow for much more than just mere identification of the polymer type. Through their research, the Eastern Switzerland University of Applied Sciences has discovered new characterization and application possibilities, especially in the field of recycling. |
