Public safety and persona! protection need textiles and polymeric materials with durable, reusable, and human safe antibacterial and antiviral properties. This article provides a summary of the latest progresses in development of daylight-induced functional textiles, suitable for application on face masks and protective clothing. Some vitamins and selected compounds have shown promising features to provide the desired features on textiles. |
