In fact, we all know that composites manufacturing is "additive" by definition. CCS and SUTD started exploring the inegration of additive manufacturing and composites in order to develop specific design guidelines and rules. Construction modulaireIndex. décimale : 668.4 Plastiques, vinyles Résumé : Carbon-reinforced concrete reduces the amount of concrete , allows more slender and elegant structures and avoids limitations of steel reinforcements. Although not a onesize-fits-all solution for every problem, it provides ample opportunities for new architectures and new structural concepts. With a Singapore-based perspective, this addresses a number of challenges typical for tropical megacities: corrosion, import of building materials, weight (piling, transport, lifting) for prefab / PPVC and high-rise architectures.
This article, will highlight these benefits, but also indicate limitations. It will also showcase three examples of use cases to provide better idea about typical applications.Note de contenu : - Tropical megacities
