Titre : Extruding plasticised pvc film Type de document : texte imprimé Auteurs : Franz Grajewski, Auteur ; Henning Stieglitz, Auteur Année de publication : 2003 Article en page(s) : p. 61-62 Langues : Anglais (eng) Index. décimale : 668.4 Plastiques, vinyles Résumé : Cost-efficient production - Using a specially-assembled co-extrusion system, it has proved possible, for the first time, to produce film that could previously only be produced by the calendering process. This permits more cost-efficient production with a high quality at the same time. Titre : Extrusion of high-performance thermoplastics : An overview of plant engineering for product development and small-batch production Type de document : texte imprimé Auteurs : Franz Grajewski, Auteur Année de publication : 2021 Article en page(s) : p. 27-30 Langues : Anglais (eng) Catégories : Matières plastiques -- Extrusion -- Appareils et matériels Index. décimale : 668.4 Plastiques, vinyles Résumé : The production and processing of high-performance thermoplastics impose high demands on plant engineering. Things get hot in the extruder, with temperatures reachingup to 500°C during compounding or fabrication of pipes, multifilaments, flat film and blown film. Filament extrusion for 3D printing has proven to be particularly economic in small-batch production. Note de contenu : - High-performance compounders ans single-screw extruders
- Special focus on calibration and cooling
- PEI and PEEK pipes fabricated with low residual stress
- Laminating unit for PEEK, LCP, PEI flat film and specialty laminates
- PEEK, PEI, LCP blown film
- Counter rotating die for high-performance blown films
- MDO stretching of high-performance films
- Multifilament PEEK, LCP, PPS
- Filament extrusion for 3D printing
- Fig. 1 : The ILK at the Technical University of Dresden uses this line to produce PEI and PEEK pipes of up to 25 mm diameter and a wall thickness of 0.5 mm
- Fig. 2 : Illustration of the process for laminating Cu foil to PEI filled with talc
- Fig. 3 : Line speeds of up to 50 m/min are achieved with the BL 600 P high-temperature blowing line
- Fig. 4 : Die for high-performance blown film : a transverse component can be added to the orientation by rotating the mandrel and orifice
- Fig. 5 : The MDO stretching line is vertically configured to save space. The stretching gaps are adjusted by motor to a value ranging from 0.2 to 10 mm

Titre : Film with a function : Extrusion Type de document : texte imprimé Auteurs : Franz Grajewski, Auteur Année de publication : 2010 Article en page(s) : p. 62-65 Note générale : Bibliogr. Langues : Anglais (eng) Index. décimale : 668.4 Plastiques, vinyles Résumé : Extrusion - Production of high-quality film for optical and electronic applications poses significant challenges for the manufacturing process and the flexibility of the equipment. Laboratory-scale machines are ideal for this processing window. On the one hand, they keep material consumption low during prototyping, while on the other they are very well-suited for cost-effective production of short runs.
