Résumé : |
Which injection molding machine is the right one for which application ? Is fast also powerful – and at what price ? Anyone trying to answer these questions by comparing brochure data will be disappointed. This is because different manufacturers sometimes measure under different conditions and specify parameters so different from each other it is like comparing apples and oranges. In addition to injection volume and speed, filling time and component weight are also crucial factors when selecting a machine. Below we will demonstrate why performance is not always performance, but physics is always physics. |
Note de contenu : |
- Brochure data for a comparison of machines
- Hydraulic versus electric injection units
- All good things come in threes – different performance classes
- Three-dimensional thinking: screw size as an influencing factor
- Filling time parameter
- Injection flow volume versus feed rate
- Selection of the appropriate injection unit
- Euromap: standardized injection unit sizes
- Top performance at the tip of the screw
