Specialties required - Over the past three years, PE-LD and PE-LLD have undergone a markedly different course of development in Europe. The market for PE-LD has remained more or less constant, while demand for PE-LLD has experienced a clear increase. On the material side, growth has been prompted especially by the metallocene types, while, on the processing side, it has been the coextrusion films that have played a key role. No pioneering developments in applications have emerged for either type, with progress being focused first and foremost on points of detail. |
