Fibres continues

The project of an industry consortium, led by IKV, shows how these parts are individually customized and produced using a fully automated manufacturing cell. The implementation of an Industry 4.0 cyber physical production system (CPPS) is a key technology to produce multi-variant products. Note de contenu : - Muli-variant combination of foam injection molding and continuous fiber reinforcement
- Laminates and tapes for thermoplstic fiber reinforcement
- Profoam technology ensures gentle processing of the fibers
- Individualized production with large-scale production costs
- Dipping edge tool and kinematic fixing elements
- TABLE : A strong industry consortium of the IKV network enables the realization of an innovative production unit
- FIGURES : 1. ProFoam lock for physical foam injection molding. Because there is no need for shear and mixing elements, fiber damage is reduced - 2. Fully automated flow of substances and data : The injection molding machine interacts with different up-and downstream production stages - 3. Online variation of the process enables large variant diversity : the flexible alignment of mold elements allows the production of different component designs - 4. Kinematic fixing elements inside the mold with dipping edges hols the laminates and tapes in position during the back molding process. Salons professionnelsIndex. décimale : 668.4 Plastiques, vinyles Résumé : That polyurethane can make a valuable contribution to the current trends of resource efficiency, lightweight design, sustainability and recycling that are prevalent in every industrial sector is demonstrated by the PU industry in the form of new solutions for increasingly demanding economical and ecological challenges. In this way, PU as a reactive material is confirming its great potential to be a long-term alternative to existing materials, and this not only because of its versatility. Note de contenu : - A trip through the mixing head
- Sustainable composites

Système de changement de couleurIndex. décimale : 668.4 Plastiques, vinyles Résumé : This versatile material is continually opening up new areas of application. A processing technology that achieves high component quality and cost efficiency is the requirement for PU products to be manufactured competitively. Rapid digitalization is playing an increasingly important role here. Note de contenu : - Rapid color changes
- Sealed tight
- Saving resources
- Lightweight structural components with PU
- Polyurethane 4.0
- Thanks to their versatility, polyurethane applications are advancing on all fronts: here is a current example of a polyurethane foam seal made from Fermapor CC with very low moisture absorption and good resistance to ice water, which is a favorably priced alternative to previous closed-cell systems or silicone foams, according to the manufacturer
- Fig. 1 : Colourline multi-connect : this modular machine system can reduce color changing to less than 15 min
- Fig. 2 : Rapid color changing: with the MK10/15-UVP-2K+4 transfer mixing head, up to four colors can be metered without colorant carryover
- Fig. 3 : Carabiner closure: this tool technology for cable foam encapsulation seals off insulat¬ed cable strands so that no foam can escape from the tool
- Fig. 4 : iPul line for the production of fiber-reinforced polyurethane profiles: in this complete
line, fiber impregnation takes place in a closed injection box, which reduces pollution of the work environment and allows higher production speeds
