Metal injection molding - Employing plastic parts to replace metal parts used to be, and still is, a strategy to boost plastics applications. For quite some time now, however, there has been a tendency, to reverse this trend. By means of injection molding, metal alloys can be converted into useful products in a cost effective and safe manner. Plants require no particular infrastructure; there may be a whole new range of business areas for plastics processors. |
