Anti-trust legislation - The newspapers carry reports on an almost daily basis of dawn raids carried out by the German Federal Cartel Office, investigations conducted by the European Commission, the imposition of heavy fines for breaches of the anti-trust legislation, and broad-based market inquiries. In addition, the anti-trust authorities are increasingly no longer focusing their activities solely on international company groups, but are coming to target small and medium companies, too. |
