Résumé : |
For the production of plastic components for an automotive air suspension system, LKH Kunststoffwerk Heiligenroth GmbH & Co. KG uses two flexible systems from the injection molding machines manufacturer Arburg. These produce up to six part variants and, thanks to an integrated laser station, each part is traceable via an individual data matrix code (DM code). |
Note de contenu : |
- Two systems, six versions
- Automation had priority
- Integrated data-matrix-code via laser
- Even greater automationin future
- Figure : The gripper of the six-axis robot first removes the finished parts from one of the mold halves. It then places the rpe-heated inserts into the opposite mold half
- Fig. 1 : Thanks to the individual DM code, each injection molded part is traceable at all times
- Fig. 2 : The robotic system transfers the finished parts to a laser station, where a DM code is applied and checked. Before the injection molding process, the metallic inserts e.g. steel rings are placed in the preheating station |
