The worldwide market situation differs widely for PA6 and PA66. While demand and capacities for PA6 precursors and base polymers are balanced, supply shortages occur frequently for PA66, and in particular its precursor adiponitrile (ADN). This leads to partially drastic price increases. Therefore, a growing number of users is searching for PA66 alternatives. |
