Résumé : |
Innovation and product development in the coatings industry is being driven by efforts to lower the levels of volatile organic compounds in organic coatings and by growing concern about the adverse effects of harmful, toxic coating components on health. The standard industrial technology for high-performance ambient-to-low-stoving coatings on metal, wood and plastic substrates utilises solvent-borne 2-pack isocyanate binders. The switchover to 2-pack water-borne systems has been hampered by the blistering caused by the reaction of isocyanates with water - until now.
