Résumé : |
This versatile material is continually opening up new areas of application. A processing technology that achieves high component quality and cost efficiency is the requirement for PU products to be manufactured competitively. Rapid digitalization is playing an increasingly important role here. |

- Rapid color changes
- Sealed tight
- Saving resources
- Lightweight structural components with PU
- Polyurethane 4.0
- Thanks to their versatility, polyurethane applications are advancing on all fronts: here is a current example of a polyurethane foam seal made from Fermapor CC with very low moisture absorption and good resistance to ice water, which is a favorably priced alternative to previous closed-cell systems or silicone foams, according to the manufacturer
- Fig. 1 : Colourline multi-connect : this modular machine system can reduce color changing to less than 15 min
- Fig. 2 : Rapid color changing: with the MK10/15-UVP-2K+4 transfer mixing head, up to four colors can be metered without colorant carryover
- Fig. 3 : Carabiner closure: this tool technology for cable foam encapsulation seals off insulat¬ed cable strands so that no foam can escape from the tool
- Fig. 4 : iPul line for the production of fiber-reinforced polyurethane profiles: in this complete
line, fiber impregnation takes place in a closed injection box, which reduces pollution of the work environment and allows higher production speeds
- Fig. 5 : UltraSim: with
foaming simulation, it is possible not only to describe the processing of steer¬ing wheels but also to determine their mechanical behavior |
