Résumé : |
A new temperature-control concept from Regloplas AG reduces the undesirable mixing of cold and hot heat-transfer media by separating them and temporarily storing them cyclically. This makes the energy-intensive variotherm temperature control more efficient and cost effective. |

- Fig. 1 : State-of the art of a dynamically temperature-controlled mold. Cold and hot heat-transfer medium flows cyclically through the mold (T stands for the temperature measurement position)
- Fig. 2 : In variotherm temperature control the energyBattery serves for temporary storage of the cold and hot heat-transfer medium
- Fig. 3 : The supply temperatures can be significantly improved by variotherm temperature control with the energyBattery. All trials were carried out using a P200M pressurized-water temperature control unit with 60 l/min. flow rate and 18 KW jeating capacity
- Fig. 4 : The graph illustrates the average power of the heating temperature control unit that is saved with an intermediate store (energyBattery)
- Table : test conditions for the manufacture of high-quality plastic parts. The first three trials were performed using a mold from the IWK |
