Résumé : |
Heyco-Werk Süd is the pulse generator for the plastics processing of the entire group of companies. This is where the threads for the development and production of technical plastic parts come together. The automotive supplier sees itself well positioned not only with its own product portfolio, but also with the choice of strategic partners. How this works is demonstrated by the example of a component for the BMW X2. |

- Strategic partnerships instead of huge follow-up costs
- Surface problems despite cascade with 2 x 7 drop valve gate system
- Active and controlled melt flow in the cavity
- For-reaching policy decision
- Fig. : In this tool, the 148 cm long cowl for the BMW x2 is manufactured by cascade injection molding
- Fig. 1 : Never again without flow front control
- Fig. 2 : The 740 g heavy cowl for the BMW x2 is manufactured as a 2-component part made of PP and TPE-S. It is important to control surface quality and distortion
- Fig. 3 : The hot runner system for the cowl of the BMW x2 contains seven needle valve nozzles each for the hard and soft components
- Fig. 4 : Synflow technology allows the flow front velocity of the melt to be controlled via a reduced opening speed of the valve needle |
