Résumé : |
The gloss and haze of films can provide information about numerous functional material properties. With the control of optical properties method, they can be examined during production so that manufacturers are able to produce products of much higher quality and access new markets. |
Note de contenu : |
- Monitoring material properties
- Inspection with COP
- Evaluation of the angle-resolved lighting intensity
- Analyzing large data volumes
- Higher quality through optical inspection
- FIGURES : 1. Camera-based optical inspection systems to assess the quality of plastic sheets - 2. Control of optical properties : in the measurement of reference samples, the inspection method returns measurements that are nearly identical to those of a standards-compliant laboratory device - 3. Measuring optical properties : a line scan camera is able to record the scattered light with angle resolution and therefore capture haze and gloss simultaneously - 4. The see-through quality of film depends on the shape of the scatter curve, and for example influences the appearance of packaged goods in the supermarket |
