OAPM pigments are highly effective nontoxic corrosion inhibitors for paints. They offer oerfirlance advantages over zinc phosphates and modified phosphates at considerably lower loadings, thus making them very cost effective.They also offer equivalent performance to chromates without any toxicity concerns for the protection of non ferrous metals. They are environmentally friendly as they contain no heavy metals and are not subject to any regulatory labelling. They are also eco-friendly as the main raw material is extracted from the dead sea, a naturally renewing resource. The pigments have been pre-registered for REACH, are available commercially and in fact have already found use in many paint systems in Europe, Asia and South America. |
