Résumé : |
For recycling to function successfully, the EU has defined five fields of action, among them: plastics. The reuse of plastics as often as possible is a common goal of politics, special interest groups, and business. But the opinions on specific measures are divided, as became clear at the conference of Petcore Europe, an association of the PET industry. |

- FIGURES : 1. Probably the most widely publicized presentation of new plastics recycling. Its goals (1,2 and 3) are clear, but their realization has to be coordinated among many actors. The Ellen Mac-Arthur Initiative has an interesting approach - 2. Additional cumulative demand for PET type bottles in Europe between 2016 and 2020. Bottles for silent waters will increase strongly, while the demand for carbonated soft drinks will fall - 3. Design for recycling : P&G demonstrates it with a new detergent bottle. Clear markings urges the consumer to remove the strongly printed shrink wrap from the transparent bottle |
