Résumé : |
Most surface coating application begins with the structure or article to be coated. The surface needs to be prepared sa as to remove contaminants that would detract the adhesion of the coating. However, there are one type of surface coating system that is used in quite opposite manner. These coatings are called gelcoats. They are used in such a way that substrate is built up onto the coating se that the gelcoat becomes an integral part of the article to be produced. The optimal dispersion of the nanofillers in the resin is a key factor for achieving the aforementioned properties. |
