Résumé : |
In short, the soap manufacturing processes, whether current or old, have very interesting chemistry which involve the formation of various phases that have very different rheological and optical properties. These phases are formed due to the unique dual behaviour of molecules having an amphiphilic nature. The solid and liquid phases present in soaps have their effect on product attributes. During the product development process it is important to be aware of the consumers' needs and the product should be designed in such a way that besides product attributes one needs to make sure that the formulations are processable. |
