Sun protection innovations are a particularly interesting and exciting topic in the cosmetics industry. Sensible improvements and creative innovations reach additional users and thus indirectly ensure greater use of sun protection products. Even simple innovations realised by additional claims often fulfil this meaningful purpose.
On the basis of three product categories, innovations in the field of solar protection are presented, discussed and supported with formulation examples. The focus is on innovation in both the application and the formulation technology itself.
Particular emphasis is placed on innovations in dermo-cosmetics, where "Colour meets Suncare" technology leads to an interesting new application. |
