Résumé : |
Material handling - For recycling production scrap, where material costs account for a large share of finished product costs, a single-stage process offers high efficiency and quality. In the case of production scrap with complex geometry, this can be achieved through the use of a guillotine. |
Note de contenu : |
- Material logistics for virgin material used as a model
- Production scrap that is difficult to process
- FIGURES : 1. High awareness of the problem : About half of the EU companies surveyed (83% of the US companies) use in-house recycling for more resource-efficient production - 2. Material contamination and the consequence : a) stress crack in a PE film, initiated by dust contamination (dust particle size about 100µm), b) mixing two polymer types (HDPE embedded in a PP polymer matrix - 3. Automatic transfer to the shredder-feeder-extruder combination : Pipe pieces on a conveyor belt after comminution with a guillotine - 4. Film roll cardboard winding core : After the guillotine knife has split the winding core from above, it is removed manually in a special work station during the single-stage recycling process ; an air shower cleans off any cardboard residues |
