Now, with suitable recycling technologies in place, the continuing research focuses mainly on re-using the reinforcement carbon fibers from pre-processing steps in the production of fiber composites. Meanwhile, the industrial processing of such secondary carbon fibers for the production of sheet molding compounds has met with success. |
