Résumé : |
In standard applications, the new intelligent temperature control units from Single achieve energy savings of between 40 and 70 %. Such energy-saving operation also has a positive effect on cooling water consumption and – as a result – on the service life of the pump. The higher costs for this option are amortized in a short period of time. |

- Evaluation and analysis
- One to two year amortization period
- TABLES : 1. Tests with acrylonitrile-styrene (ABS) at approx. 30°C : The reduction of the volume flow results in considerably lower energy consumption at identical molded part quality (from approx. 1kW to approx. 300 W) - 2. Automatic control mode with acrylonitrile-butadiene-styrene (ABS) at approx 30°C. With a tolerance window for ΔT of 5K or 6K, the temperature control system adjusts the pump speed automatically and provides significant energy savings (from approx. 1kW to approx. 500 W) - 3. Tests with polycarbonate (PC) at approx 100°C : Here too the reduction of the volume flow provides substantial energy savings - at identical molded part quality |
