Résumé : |
Damar Batu, a natural resin, was studied analitycally to determine its physical and chemical characteristics. The resin was then modified so that it could be used to synthesise alkyds and polyurethanes. Paints based on these binders were found to offer anticorrosive properties at least comparable to the rosinated alkyd formulation commercially used in India. |
