Résumé : |
Current fertiliser production plants are very complex with individual units operating at various parameter e.g. temperatures and pressures etc. The corrosion in fertiliser industries are primarily due to corrosive nature of chemicals used as raw materials in the production of fertilizers. There has been substantial increase in the expenditure of fertilizer industries in the last decade which has caused a huge corrosion. Furthermore, many commercial chemicals are used on farm lands, grain and silage preservatives, pests and weed control, and as proprietary acid solutions for cleaning dairy equipment. In addition to these, farm wastes and slurries contain many chemicals. On the whole, these various chemicals frequently damage farm ing machinery and ancillary structures. The two basic reasons of replacing the equipment or machinery are either to upgrade the old one or two replace them due to their wear and tear (corrosion). The aim of this article is to find suitable solutions to corrosion occurring in the fertilizer industries and to the agricultural equipments. |
