Résumé : |
Use of the Ti-Pure select TS-6300, a new highly treated TiO2, allowing optimal paint performance, while controlling costs and describe the development of a calculator supporting paint formulation work.
Highly treated 7102 grades are very effective in enhancing the hiding power of flat points by increasing Ti02 scattering efficiency through reduced Tr02 crowding and by enhancing air pore hiding contribution. A computer model has been developed to facilitate paint formulation with Ti-Pure Select TS-6300 by predicting key point properties depending on point composition and T102 type. This model can help minimise lab work required to achieve a formulation with optimised performance and cost. |
