Résumé : |
Mitsubishi Electric Corporation is currently developing a multifunctional composite structure for application to future space satellite. In addition to traditional structural and thermal functions, electrical functionality is incorporated into the satellite body via embedding of electronic modules between the faces of a carbon fiber reinforced plastic (CFRP) honeycomb sandwich panel. Initial focus is on incorporation of electrical interface functionality into the satellite structure, enabling significant reductions in weight, cost, and production time. In this paper, a demonstration panel component with a function of communication interface was developed. Thermal, mechanical and electrical performances of the demonstration panel component were successfully verified in simulated space environments. |
