Résumé : |
A major trend in the aircraft industry is for cost reduction in manufacture. Composites manufacture by infusion process in is one method being studied to reduce the cost associated with current advanced composites manufacturing methods. The development of aircraft quality components by liquid resin infusion (LRI) is described. These components are competitive with both prepreg/autoclave manufacture and previously used infusion methods currently in serial production. The use of a relatively simple infusion method is described, with detail attention to process parameters to enable achieving stringent design requirements. |
