Résumé : |
The first generation of ROHACELL polymethacrylimide (PMI) foams was invented 37 years ago. Only three years later, PMI foam was successfully introduced in an aerospace programme and received its first aerospace specification, in this case for helicopter fuselage parts. Today the foam is specified in more than 180 specifications worldwide. As a result of constant development a broad range of different PMI sandwich foam cores is available, tailored to suit for a variety of applications in different market segments. Four different grades are available to be used for structural aircraft and space applications. |
