Résumé : |
Wood plastic composites, also called wood polymer compounds, consist of wood, polymers and additives. These compounds have gained increasing acceptance over the past years. While currently they are mainly used in non-structural components such as decking or automotive interior elements, other applications fields including furniture, technical parts or consumer goods are becoming increasingly interesting. Thermal analysis methods such as thermogravimetry (TGA), dynamic mechanical analysis (DMA) and dilatometry (DIL) are very helpful in characterising the properties of WPC materials. |
