As a consequence, investigation of these new functional surfaces has gained increasing interest in technical and scientific literature. Yet, the most effective solutions currently available are quite costly and, consequently, only used in high value components such as touch screen displays.
To overcome this high cost barrier, Cytec introduced its latest development for energy curable coatings, namely Ebecryl 8110 resin for consumer electronics components such as casings etc. This novel and patent-pending UV resin enables paint formulators to develop coatings that meet the overall coating performance requirement (hardness, adhesion, chemical resistance) as well as permanent easy fingerprint removal/easy-to-clean surface property.Note de contenu : - Effect of composition
- Effect of application conditions on E2C performance
- Robustness of the E2C property and benchmarking
