Coil coatings
PigmentsIndex. décimale : 667.9 Revêtements et enduits Résumé : Coil coaters increasingly need to produce short runs of specific colours. Ideally, this needs colour pastes that are compatible with all binder systems. Resin-free pigment concentrate (RFPC) meet this need but may require high dispersant levels. A dispersant produced by CRFP improves economy by giving low viscosity and high colour strength RFPCs at lower dispersant levels. Note de contenu : - Changing patterns in colour production and demand
- Resin-free concentrates improve compatibility
- Seeking improved solutions
- Efficient dispersant improves RFPC economics
- Performance of dispersants compared in RFPCs
- Stability of carbon black RFPC is improved
- Organic and inorganic red pastes also improved
- Production flexibility matched with economicEn ligne : https://drive.google.com/file/d/17onw_mSYwTdeJNY4HGh5VcwJMTRwbpFH/view?usp=drive [...] Format de la ressource électronique : Permalink : https://e-campus.itech.fr/pmb/opac_css/index.php?lvl=notice_display&id=14725

solvantsIndex. décimale : 667.9 Revêtements et enduits Résumé : Cu-phthalocyanine pigments represent one of the major classes of organic pigments that are used in the coatings and ink industries. Although used extensively, dispersing these pigments is by no means without a challenge. Especially as the rheological behaviour of the mill base can be difficult to control, which might lead to decreased pigment loading or the need for a synergist. Such synergists usually have a positive effect on rheology but can lead to leaching problems in the final application.
In order to fulfil the market needs, two dedicated dispersing agents have been added to BASF's portfolio.
Its most recent products, Efka PX 4350 and Efka PX 4351 are high performance dispersing agents, specially developed for processing Cu-phthalocyanine pigments ; their use ensures peak performance in viscosity reduction and optimum colour development in high-end solvent-based applications including high solids.Note de contenu : - Block copolymer dispersing agents based on CFRP technology

ParquetsIndex. décimale : 667.9 Revêtements et enduits Résumé : To preserve the beauty of wood that has been coated, BASF can help formulators to meet efficient and eco-friendly requirements with its portfolio of resins, additives and pigments.
The paints and coatings industry in Europe faces substantial challenges. Efficient production should go hand in hand with ever better performance. At the same time, coatings must meet the increasing demand for health-friendly and resource-saving solutions. This is especially true for furniture and flooring coatings, which play a key role in everybody's living areas. Providing innovative products with similar coating properties to established systems is one of the biggest challenges.
