Ten-month old kid leather crossbreeds from crossing white goats up graded by bucks of boer and nubian breeds have the required values of strength and sensory characteristics desirable for the production of gloves and clothing. Leather PB x B crossbreeds had lower tensile strength than that determined as adequate by the standard for leather clothing. Kid leather PB x N exhibited greater resistance to tearing relative to other groups through a thicker reticular layer, which predisposes them for use as shoe uppers.
