Complexes separated from chromium sulfate solutions were studied for their change during aging. Noncationic sulfato complexes changed easily to cationic sulfato or nonsulfato complexes. Cationic sulfato complexes were slightly to considerably stable. But with increasing pH, the hexaaquo complexes changed to hydroxo ones to a considerable extent. Among various complexes, hydroxo complexes had the highest affinity for collagen. Some sulfato complexes had considerable affinity at higher pH. |
