Polycarbonate - There are great opportunities to use polycarbonate for optical components, such as non-imaging lenses with free-form surfaces for LED lights and motor vehicle headlamps. Thanks to newly developed materials with higher transmission and light-stable coloration, complex lenses can now be produced in excellent quality. At the same time, innovative process developments permit accurate, economic production of these lenses on an industrial scale. |
