This results in a variety of quality and cost advantages. The completely solvent-free and release-agent-free paint systems used for this purpose are available in almost all conceivable color combinations and have successfully withstood all the relevant tests for use in large series. Note de contenu : - Combining injection molding and reaction technology in one step
- Two-component lacquer with unique features
- Robust processing - scratchproof, wind and weather-resistant
- Properties and colors can be tailored for resource conservation

Revêtements dans le mouleIndex. décimale : 668.4 Plastiques, vinyles Résumé : When injection molding specialists talk about balancing, they are referring to the synchronous reaching of the end of the melt flow in the cavities. It would consequently be better to refer to this as “synchronizing.” This synchronization of the end of the melt flow is influenced by several parameters: the molding compound, the injection molding machine, the tool, and the hot runner. With family molds, in particular, with multiple connections of the parts, synchronizing becomes an even greater challenge. We show an alternative to complex manual cascade settings in a realistic test set-up. Note de contenu : - Manual cascade settings and adjustments to process interferences
- Automatic cascade settings in real time
- Test set-up : family mold for a door trim panel
- Managing filling time differences in family molds
- Controlling the filling time differences - machine versus human

Revêtements dans le moule:Peinture dans le mouleIndex. décimale : 668.4 Plastiques, vinyles Résumé : For several years a quartet of developers has been working on a new technology for painting thermoplastic parts in the injection mold. The process of flow coating in the injection mold using reaction system technology has now started into series production for the first time. The new Peugeot SUV 3008 is the first car in the world to feature elegant deep piano black A-pillar trims with a mirror finish – manufactured in a fast one-step process that does not require either solvents or release agents. Note de contenu : - Iterative modification of the 2-component paint
- Advantages over wet coating
- Technology for greater design freedom
- PSA recognized the advantages of flow coating at an Early stage
- Polyurea - Curing within seconds even without catalysts
