Titre : Large scale HT PET yam using LSP technology : special yarn development Type de document : texte imprimé Auteurs : Milton Briguet Bastos, Auteur ; Ana Lucia Nazareth da Silva, Auteur ; Elieti Biques Fernandes, Auteur Année de publication : 2016 Article en page(s) : p. 59-61 Note générale : Bibliogr. Langues : Anglais (eng) Catégories : Fibres textiles synthétiques
Polycondensation à l'état liquide
Polyéthylène téréphtalate
Technique de la productionIndex. décimale : 677.4 Textiles artificiels Résumé : This paper has the objective of introducing the new production process of industrial PET yarn using LSP technology in a large scale production facility. It describes the new process and shows not only the benefits of this new technology but also discusses the challenges to operate a highly complex reaction and transport phenomena process under tight process control conditions in order to produce yarn with the desired mechanical characteristics yet with reduced mechanical properties variability. Furthermore, it will be shown that the LSP technology can not only be used for high volume production of standard high-tenacity polyester yams with a lower investment and operating cost, but also for special value added products with the example of a yam with marine finish developed specifically for ultra-deep water moorings of oil production Floating Production, Storage and Offloading (FPSO) platforms. Note de contenu : - Traditional industrial PET yarn production using SSP technology
- LSP technology development : LSP polymer technology - Spinning process for LSP - Results of the large scale LSP

RhéologieIndex. décimale : 668.4 Plastiques, vinyles Résumé : Various waste materials are produced in blow and flat sheet film manufacturing. This includes film residues, scrapped rolls, trimmings and purgings. Stamping grids and scrap parts are also generated in case of subsequent thermoform production. The zero scrap production concept of NGR is intended to return all waste material to the manufacturing process. Note de contenu : - Production concept for manufacturing PET deep drawing film
