JET-BLACK coatings with a blue undertone are specially popular in the automotive industry. Whatever range of colours is provided in the OEM ( original equipment material )coatings also has to ba available in the field of automotive repair - often in a variety of different binder systems, depending on the country. These include alkyd melamine, NC combinations, 2-component paints based on hydroxyl terminated acrylics are undoubtedly on the advance wolrdwide due to the advantages they offer during technical applications. However, there are also binders whose wetting properties are unsatisfactory especially when used in the dispersion of finely-divided carbon blacks. |
