Son objectif est de produire des biens et services tout en limitant fortement la consommation et le gaspillage des matières premières, et des sources d'énergies non renouvelables ;

Règlements de sécuritéIndex. décimale : 668.5 Parfums et cosmétiques Résumé : The author discusses the guidance papers the Association has published to assist companies in the supply chain to meet safety standards.
Food contact materials (FCMs) are widely used in packaging for every day fonds and beverages. Whereas kitchen ustensils tend to corne into contact with foods only briefly, food packaging allows food to be stored for long periods, which means extended contact can coeur. Adhesives are used in almost all food packaging, to bond the different materials used but direct food contact is rarely intended.
Adhesives typically make up less than 5% of food packaging and, for most adhesive applications, direct food contact is not intended.
The adhesives industry is working hard to ensure that its products are safe. FEICA, the Association of the European Adhesive & Sealant Industry, has published several guidance papers to help not only their own members but also the other players of the FCM supply chain, to ensure that the final packaging is safe.

Titre : Advances in adhesive dispensing technology move packaging to greater sustainability Type de document : texte imprimé Auteurs : Rick Pallante, Auteur Année de publication : 2009 Article en page(s) : p. 22-27 Note générale : Bibliogr. Langues : Américain (ame) Catégories : Adhésifs -- Emballages Index. décimale : 668.3 Adhésifs et produits semblables Résumé : The world is changing. Resources once considered endless are becoming both limited and costly. For example, adhesives are produced using petroleum, energy and water. Recent adhesive cost increases of 10-25%, along with a decrease in the availability of petroleum-based resin (a key component), have put a significant strain on packaging manufacturers. The once-prevalent practice of placing any amount of adhesive on a package to ensure a strong seal or bond is no longer economically or environmentally feasible. As a result, packagers now require new options that will overcome these challenges while preserving the integrity of their processes and bottom lines. Note de contenu : - WHY IS PACKAGING IMPORTANT ?

Matériaux d'emballage -- RecyclageIndex. décimale : 664.09 Conditionnement et emballage Résumé : Sausage packaging is quickly gaining interest in the marketplace, primarily due to growing environmental concerns. Sausage packages are often considered a greener alternative because they can be recycled once dispensed. European governments and agencies have developed regulations seeking to enforce the incorporation of greener materials and solutions, and the use of sausage packaging has become widely adopted as a result. As domestic regulations change, sausage packages will become more common in the U.S. En ligne : http://www.adhesivesmag.com/articles/90124-alternate-packaging-solution Format de la ressource électronique : Web Permalink : https://e-campus.itech.fr/pmb/opac_css/index.php?lvl=notice_display&id=25724

Rubans adhésifs double faceIndex. décimale : 668.3 Adhésifs et produits semblables Résumé : Pressure-sensitive adhesives (PSAs) continue to gain traction in the broad category of packaging. PSAs are rapidly changing the way goods are packaged and delivered to consumers in traditional retail and via ecommerce. They also enhance the food packaging that enables the contents to remain fresher for a longer period of time in the original container while also helping to sell those goods (and others) on the sales floor. In addition, PSAs help deliver medical devices safely and securely to medical professionals.
Corrugated and cardboard/paper make up one segment of the packaging arena, and plastic the other. Adhesives in the two segments are differentiated in terms of appearance and price points. Cardboard/paper applications are typically opaque; the color and clarity of the adhesive are not an issue because consumers typically will not see it. This is the more mature marketplace of the two, with adhesives squaring off against glues. Since this means lower price points, adhesives must be economical and work well in order to be considered.
The plastic marketplace typically requires clear adhesives, especially in clear packaging applications. Price points are higher in this area, as higher demands on performance and items critical to quality drive the cost. In both segments, however, adhesive manufacturers that can develop new technologies are providing solutions that converters can present to their packaged goods customers and enable them to capture more market share.Note de contenu : - Changing the game for ecommerce
