Détection de dommages (matériaux)
Travail de rivière (cuir)Index. décimale : 675 Technologie du cuir et de la fourrure Résumé : Grain damage is one of the most common problems occurring in the tannery. The causes of grain damage are numerous and process control is important to prevent financial loss due to loss in quality. Damage to the grain results in a difference in shade and texture on the surface resulting in poor quality aniline leathers being produced. In finished leathers, areas of grain damage can result in a different uptake of finish components, giving rise to differences in shade and gloss. Once the causes are understood, the tanner can take preventative measures to avoid the problem.
Grain damage occurs as a result of the grain being attacked by either physical or chemical methods. This usually occurs in the raw stock or during the early stages of processing. An understanding of the problem and its causes can help to eliminate the problem.Note de contenu : - Poor preservation

During this process the main target is to 'purify' the collagenic structure as much as possible by removing undesirable by products in order to start the tanning (the stage when the pelt is converted to leather) in an optimised condition.
Dirt, blood, flesh, fat, non-collagenic protein, elastin and keratin will be removed from the hide. These various materials represent quite a high percentage of the total mass of the hide. The removal of these is an essential process before the hides pass into the wet-end and finishing processes.
While the name of Stahl has been associated worldwide with the supply of quality finishing products for many years, it was not until the late 1980s that Stahl became involved in the wet-end. Within the last couple of years? Stahl have extended these activities into the field of the beamhouse, there by providing a complete service to the tannery.Note de contenu : - Soaking

Travail de rivière (cuir)Index. décimale : 675 Technologie du cuir et de la fourrure Résumé : Beamhouse processes are based on high offers of chemical compounds to treat hides and remove any unwanted materials in order to produce the final desired piece of leather.
By tweaking the process steps, slight adjustements can be made to reduce the total wastewater load and dramatically reduce the environmental load of the effluent as well as be more cost effective to the tanner.
There are three main chemical components, which are typically added when soaking and liming. these are : surfactants, sulphides, lime powder.
If we look at the role of surfactants and sulphides we can see where savings can be made and the environmental impact reduced.En ligne : https://drive.google.com/file/d/1_QbNetahDRf5rspcTIJhzkJVRO0zo95C/view?usp=drive [...] Format de la ressource électronique : Permalink : https://e-campus.itech.fr/pmb/opac_css/index.php?lvl=notice_display&id=15629
